Missed idea in the Integrated Task
I have some questions in the Integrated Writing task :
1. Sometime I lost some key points in the listening. However, I can still develop my essay base on the idea I got. Is there any problem with this case. Will the evaluator mark me low point for this mistake. 2. Do I need to paraphase the point in the reading or just rewrite it when comparing or contrasting with the listening. 3. Is there any penaltes if I state wrong information from the listening. Anyone have experience about these cases, please help me! |

Hi TS3,
You need to state your sentence in your own words or paraphrase it. And also if you missed the three key points or just one of them, it is obvious that you will get a deduction for that. You can not put a new informations in integrated exam. All you have to do is to report the relation from reading to writing. In each paragraph from reading, you would get the idea/key point, and the lecture will disagree or agree about the opinion from the reading... hope it helps |
