The issue of whether Students should assess their teachers or not is a controversial one.Some people oppose assessing teachers,for students lack knowledge and experiences to give objective and accurate opinions about their teachers.However,in my understanding ,such evaluation is critical for three following reasons:helping teachers improve teaching quality,helping schools manage teachers staff better and enhancing students's academic records
The first reason for my belief is that evaluating teachers improves the teaching quality.Via feedbacks from students,teachers recognize their weakness and merits in their lectures.as a result,teachers know how to correct problems and share good teaching experience with others teachers.For example,poor communication skill is the one of the most crucial information from students 's evalution.Further more,the evaluation creates competitive working enviroment in school.It is undoubted that competition is a impetus of development
In addition to better teaching quality,the evalution strengthen the efficiency of teaching management.One of the most crucial factors determining the efficiency of teaching monitoring is the quality of information.Because students closely experience the lecture,the information provied by students is reliable and unbiased.Basing on the awareness of weakness and strengths of each teacher,schools allocate teaching resource more succesfully.
Finally enhancing students 's academic performance.Essesing teachers help students has the oppotunities ti show their opinion.Students give the problems,which is needed explained by teacher.Moreover, that evaluating teachers makes students feel respected.That 's why it can make students more responsible in their study.
