hi guys!
does anyone know the rules for I-20 application. specifically I need to know whether it is mandatory to apply from only country of residence. can I apply from somewhere else while I am on vacation for ex?
your replies will be greatly appreciated

George, as far as I know you have to be in your country to be able to obtain your student visa at the USA embassy. At least in Mexico you cannot mail your I-20 asking for the visa, you have to go and present all the papers in person and also for the interview. Cheers! Miren-Mexico
