Hi there,

I did my masters in united states with F1 visa, worked there for couple of years in H1 Visa. Then lost my job and returned back to india in may 2009.

No luck in india, So i have decided to do PhD in states. Got admitted for PhD in same university where i did my masters but no funding.

Here are my questions,

1. what are chances for me to get F1 visa.

2. What will be questions for guys like me from the visa officer.

Hi,
Even iam in the same situation.I did my MS in Computer Science and worked there for 2 years.After a stay of total 4 years in US i came back to india in Mar 2009.I still have a valid H1 visa got stamped in india which is valid till sep 2010. To travel back to US on H1,my employer said that i need to have a project in hand to come to US,also in order to get that he asked me to put a VOIP and try from india for US jobs,but that isn't really working due to many constraints.Also if we are in US on H1 we need to have the payroll run for every month.In order to avoid those i am planning to apply for MBA from a University which doesn't need a GMA or GRE or TOEFL.My questions are:
1.Will he cancel my issued H1 visa which is valid till Sep 2010?Even if my F1 visa gets rejected?
2.What should i answer if he asks why i want to pursue MBA?
3.Without GMAT will he approve the Visa.i wrote my GRE on Aug 2004 and Toefl in Sep 2004.Will these be helpful?
Please help me in this matter.Appreciate your help!
