i am unsure if u get opt after completing 2 year college. According to me, u get opt after completeing a particular level, for instance bachelors or masters or phd.
Check with your DSO and let us know. I most humbly and respectfully would really like to have info on that.

Tino 's dreams are becoming reality.
You can get OPT from a lot of schools: vocational school, college and university. You can get it with a 1 year certificate, 2 year degree, etc...

Usually your school should help you apply. Ask at the International Student Office.

One point: You should apply 3 months or more before you graduate or complete your program! It takes 2-4 months to get the OPT approval. I think there may be a penalty or problem if you apply to late. Check with your school.

Good luck!
