CMU/UIUC PhD in CS

Hello everybody,

 

I would like to know if anybody has already heard from CMU or UIUC department of Computer Science. If yes, have you received the (admission) decision by email or mail?

I don't want to disappoint you but they have already sent the acceptances for CS. You are definitely rejected from CMU and there is a high chance of rejection for UIUC.

it is said on UIUC's website that:

"All admission decisions will be communicated via email to the email address provided in your application. Additional certification or documentation may be sent to applicants who are recommended for admission by the department and admission has been finalized by the Office of Admissions.

That's why i am quite surprised by feyvazi's reply.

I have also applied for PhD in CS at UIUC. I checked on their group on Facebook. Admission notification are expected in first week of April. You will also get a mail notifying the same, as mentioned on their website.
