I see that there are many master master programs in economics in LSE, which one is the best if I wanna apply for a top PhD program in the US or LSE after finishing my master's studies?
Thanks..

I feel this topic has been raised before, search for it :) you'll get plenty of opinions/fact/

If you want to apply during the master's, the best IMO is probably the MSc Economics (Research): solid coursework, and guarantees a PhD offer if you get a distinction. EME is harder, could be a good or bad thing, depends on what you want.

Apply to two-years programme only if you feel unprepared.

As far as I've read on this board, the EME is the best signal if you do well in it.

Actually I haven't found any summarizing thread despite using the search function. There are mostly scattered posts in different semi-related threads. Maybe I have used the wrong tags. Can someone help out?
