Hi, I'm taking the general GRE tomorrow for the first time and have a couple of questions. By the way, any tips related to the Analytical Writing essays would be great. So far, I've only studied the McGraw-Hill's GRE 2010 Edition textbook.

1a) Do I get to choose which section between Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical Writing I can complete first?
1b) Do I get to choose which essay - between the Issue and Argumentative - I can complete first?

2) I only need to complete the Analytical Writing part of the examination for the graduate school for which I am applying, so I do not plan to even touch the Quantitative and Verbal sections. For those two multiple-choice sections, can I just leave the room and tell the proctor that I do not wish to complete the other sections, or do I have to sit there idly? Also, do I actually have to complete those sections?

Any information related to my questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
