1) Since , the triangle is isosceles, two sides should be equal. There are 2 options.

a) Since one side is 8, assume 2nd side s also 8( isosceles) and third is 2(perimeter is 2)

b) One side is 8, the other two equal sides are 10 5 each.
Try calculating area for both , one area will match teh choices given.

2) sy, total no. of women=w
total no. of men= m
given (2/3)w = (1/2)m
thus m/w=4/3
To calculate women's fraction from total means calculating w/(w+m)
Put the value of m/w and calculate answer.

3)increase in price =\$5.
% increase = 5/20 * 100

4)say one page letters = x
2 page letters = y

Given x+y= 6
x+2y=10.
Solve for x and y

Here's explanation for the 5th one:

Q: By weight, liquid A makes up 7.0 percent of solution 1 and 4.5 percent of solution 2. If 3 grams of solution 1 is mixed with 2 grams of solution 2,then the liquid A accounts for what percent of the resulting solution?
Amount of Liquid A in solution 1 which is sampled = 7.0/100 *3
Amount of Liquid B in solution 2 which is sampled = 4.5/100 *2
The final solution is 5 grams (3g solution1 + 2g solution2)

The percentage of Liquid A can be calculated thus:
7.0/100 * 3 + 4.5/100 *2
--------------------------- * 100
5

= 6%
