Hi,

I need your help. I've done a few ETS exams and scored only in the 650-700 range. The are okay, but I need to do fantastically well on the quants to get into graduate school -- like an 800. Any hints on achieving this? I've also heard that the Quants have changed now. The level of difficulty is now more similar to the GMATs.

Thanks.

Hi calm J,

Thanks for the response. I'm dying to see the ajay file, but my computer freezes everytime I try to open it. Any advice? For verbal, I think the quickest way to improve is to memorize a lot of vocab. I've found the Barron's word list to be very thorough and indicative of what will be tested. Another way to improve is reading comp. Make sure you get "gist" of the passage. Often questions ask for the major themes, not really irrelevant details. Hope this helps.
