Hi All,

I found the site www.number2.com very helpful for preparing for GRE .. to supplement the rest of the preparation material you might have. It has a lot of practice stuff for Verbal and Quantitative.

You can get books on Amazon.com or bn.com. My fave is PR's Cracking the GRE. Excellent strategies, solid overall prep, 4 practice tests on CD. The official materails (you get those when you register) are a must too.

Hi all, as Ladydi has mentioned PR is definitely the best, but, from my personal experience PR is a tad bit easier compared to real GRE. The "Practicing for the real GRE, 10th edition" published by ETS is one of the best source for GRE prep. Also, Kaplan is another good book. For verbal, if u wanna improve ur vocab u might wanna read the 3500 wordlist in Barron's and also refer to AmigoRo's post on verbal preparation at http://www.TestMagic.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2180.

Hi Computer,

Become familiar with the GRE test, and then just practice and practice and practice. I used the free software at http://www.ets.org as well as http://www.number2.com and http://www.mygretutor.com to practice for my exam. Each of the above sites provides a few tests, and you should take as many as you can to get a feel for the timing and the difficulty. I wouldn't recommend that you buy a book or pay for a service. You should be able to get most things for free online, and you can always check out practice materials from your library. :)
