Hi Erin,

I did my graduation and post-graduation in India and am currently in US. I am planning to take GMAT sometime in Jan-Feb, 03 and I am told that we have to enter our GPA before start of GMAT. Since our examinations are "Marks" based as opposed to GPAs, do I need to convert my marks sheet to equivalent GPA?

Thanks & Regards

Thanks Raghuveer. But, none of the links gave me a clear direction in the end (or did I miss something?). It left me with many unanswered questions.
First, except for one, none of them had a mechanism for converting percentage marks to GPA. All of them required credit hours, or grades. Then, none of them clearly tells us if it is correct for us to calculate them ourselves or to send our marks sheet for conversion to GPA to some recognized authority. Also, should we consider only final year marks for the conversion purpose? (I have done BE and MTech and in this case, should I consider only MTech marks??)

Can someone please clarify these doubts?
