Hey, that's pretty interesting. I'd never seen anything like that. Sometimes it amazes me what you can find on the Internet!

Here's another Snitz forum with a very interesting hobby, reminds me a bit of yours:

http://www.weeweeslap.com

This site is for "virtual roller coasters," something I'd never heard of before.

howdy!
I'm the owner of WeeWeeSlap.com and was brought to this topic by a post TestMagic.com made on my forum and thought I'd share some info ;)
I'm no sales rep or anything ok :p
Anyway to ride the coasters you need to have the software for it. http://www.nolimitscoaster.com sells one of the coaster game softwares. Costs $25 and you get your download link pretty quick (average within 5 minutes, longest 1 day) You can build tracks(coasters) in the editor which is sort of like cad builder. It's easy to use but does take a bit to get a good handle of it. Nonetheless it's a great piece of software with updates that come for free. You can download a demo of this at www.nolimitscoaster.com or www.nolimitscoaster.de The .de is the developers site and has the more useful info.
Ok the other piece of software that is used most is Scream Machines Game. It's similar to NoLimits, only that SM has more track styles to choose from, that is different rollercoaster types to choose from. It's cad based as well and the graphics are good too. You can download a demo of this at www.wounded-heart.com They have great technical support, and so does NoLimits.
Out of these two I believe NoLimits looks more realistic, but Scream Machines is much more versatile in options and additon. Both of these games allow you to import 3d objects, NoLimits in the form of .3ds and Scream Machines in the form of .obj You can create custom skyboxes/environments, replace trees, texture the cars, stations and stuff. Good game play in my opinion. If you guys have any questions or want screenshots of the editor in case you don't want to download the demos to see, just ask and I'll post some and you link you to some. Well, let me know what you think, I am sure that you would like the enjoyment of riding these tracks. Some make good, great tracks other not so good but hey everyone starts building somewhere! So just ask me anything and I'll be able to help.

http://www.coastercrazy.com ( in case your parents don't like the weeweeslap ;) same site, same coding, different name and color but registration at one site works on the other )

hee hee, good luck! I'm sure that you'll enjoy, you can't save anything in the demo but you can build and ride what you build, justnot save it, there's also some good premade tracks included in each demo that you can ride to see what others have done :).

Hi WWS, I am sorry for being sloppy in not posting back my experience..Unfortunately we dont have dedicated memory for Video on our machines at home and so the whole thing was really slow, like in a slow motion :( :yuck:....However, I feel that the whole thing is amazing....Really well done!!!!! May be some day I will get a chance to put my hands on a machine which has dedicated memory and get the real experience [^]
