Hi everyone !

is the elimination of non linear kinetics follows zero order reaction ?

and if we draw the graph of drug elimination of auc vs dose, then what is the shape for that ?

Elimination of linear kintics follows first order reaction and if we draw a graph it is bell shape. if i am wrong please correct me .

Thanks !

yes linear kinetics follows zero order reaction and if we draw the graph it shows straight line. and has a charecterstics of '' ph is changing parameter''.

hope this will help.

all the best boss.

hi mpb,

if you ask about non linear pharmacokinetics, then it's elimination rates depend on dose.

at higher dose-zero order

at intermediate dose-min order

at low dose-first order

see the graph on page no-121, ch-6, cpr.

please ,correct me if i am wrong.

the elimination of non linear kinetics follows zero order only at very high dose..

both first and zero at intermediate dose

first order only at low dose

ya that is right

ya that is right

dear cherry

can u give us a breife summary about the kinetics .. linear & non linear ?

& their orders & graphs ?????

thanks in advance
