Hi,

I kinda forget what I read by the time I reach the end of reading comprehension passage thinking I have spent too much time reading it.. Can anyone tell me how to manage time on Verbal section? RC big passage just makes me nervous.

Thanks.

try making notes while reading the rc, not long notes, just important words and phrases. u cannot afford to lose focus while reading rc, that would affect accuracy. just go on practising on quality rcs and u shud be okay!

regarding time management- i found that, after a certain limit, i couldnt cut back on time spent in reading the rc and answering questions, without effecting accuracy. i increased my speed in other parts of the verbal test instead. try out this approach.

hth,

Take brief notes and disregard statistics and dates. You can always quickly go back to the article to retrieve them. Make sure you feel comfortable with the RC section. I had 3 of them for my verbal section and one was 120 lines! The other two were like 50 and 40 lines.
