Hi i want to know what is the better way to use the time interval in the test. In GRE I didn't use the time intervel. I just clicked to enter the next section even when there was 10 minutes break. But after that I could not concentrate on the verbal section. I felt as if my mind was being rubbed.
Thank you

Wow! you seem to have quite vivid sensations. I've never experienced that! ;)

I only felt my mind/brain being eaten away by some lectures I have attended :)

Anyway,

when we take the test, we natuarlly tend to get atlest a bit tensed up. we don't get to relax while doing the sections. If we stay put for a prolonged period, we may experience all sorts of things.... fatigue, strains, sprains, pangs, headaches,... what not.

to avoid this situation, its better to take the break, walk around, stretch your muscles a bit, have some water, give your eyes some rest by looking at something distant or just close your eyes and you can slowly massage your eyes to relax the facial muscles, have some fresh air, .... anything to relax.

remember, you got to get a good score, and to do that you need to give your best. take no chances.

if you still have nothing to do in the test, try some of these ...

I say this a lot, but I'll say it again: taking this [dang] test is very much like competing in an athletic event. If you have the chance to take a break, you by all means should!

I think a good thing to do is to walk around, stretch, eat a snack, stuff like that. The point is you want to give your mind a break and try to get some adrelin flowing in your body.

HTH!!

Then try the next thing on the list...

Stand on someone else's head

"Someone else" excludes me, though.
You won't get a chance to play Bhasmasura. I mean, you can't test something on someone who has told you to do it.

Erin, if you are wondering who is Bhasmasura, just ask.

Yeah, he's a great guy, and has a HUGE heart... I'm glad he found TestMagic... Really!!

I think he will be very, very successful in his life. From what I've seen in the thousands of people with whom I've crossed paths, "winners" have certain things in common--intelligence, patience, professionalism, and a willingness to sacrifice, to help others, etc. Raghuveer has exhibited all these qualities and more over and over and over again. I sincerely hope that he keeps in touch with me over the years and lets me know where he's studying, what he's doing, etc. Many of my students do this, and somehow, it makes me feel very happy and satisfied to know!!
