View Full Version : particle "to" and infinitive

Here is the sentence I have doubts about:

"All you have to do with me is (to) leave me alone"

Here, as far as I understand, infinitive play a role of the subject complement. Is it grammatically correct to omit particle "to" before the "leave"? May be there are special case in which one can do it...

Looking forward to your ideas.

One can omit "to" in short infinitives. cf: make me think, help u solve etc.
