... later than usual, late march or perhaps early April according to the graduate secretary. I still have no info from Queens and UBC, and apparently whoever didn't hear from UWO by now is rejected :hmm:

May I ask where you got this information?

OMG! Two months of torture. I hope Queen's gives out admits earlier. I didn't apply to UBC.

From insider info (I've mentioned this on other threads,) Queen's results can be expected (probably in a normal dist'n,) around March 15th.

Cheers!

If Toronto is too lazy to admit until the first week of April, that's going to hurt their chances of attracting good candidates, I would imagine. Something that arrives that late probably wouldn't garner the full consideration of people with competing offers who've had a month to research their other admits.

Sure! The answer is read the post again, and you will find that information :)

The graduate secretary of Toronto told you this about UWO?

The graduate secretary of Toronto told you this about UWO?

No, the second sentence is disjoint. See my UWO thread for more information about it.

Well, then your previous post was completely misleading.

I've read the UWO thread; it only gives us a vague indication of some Canadian students being admitted; it says nothing about internationals, and international rejections in particular.

Well, then your previous post was completely misleading.

No it was not. The first sentence talked about the information I received from the graduate secretary, the second talked about the information I had gathered on my own.

But I asked where you got the information about UWO, and you told me to read the original post again (the only source of information there was the Toronto graduate secretary).

haha, my mistake. I thought you deliberately snipped the original post to save space.

I was referring to the guy who told me I was doomed in the UWO thread. Sorry about the confusion. :hmm:

The point is that I shouldn't tear my hair out (yet) over not getting accepted to UWO. :D

Hi Olm! Have you also received any other relevant information concerning the current admission cycle - except the date when admission decisions will be announced? (Maybe something like: record nbr of applications this year or sth like that?)

Thx

Any other information I manage to dig up via my sources (which are quite scarce, but they are there) will be posted here. Sorry, I have nothing else to share at this time.
