serGINho
In comparison with tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center, and typically have a less symmetric wind field. with tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center, and typically have with tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center, and typically has with tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone located farther from the center of maximum winds, and typically have to tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center, and typically have to tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center, and typically has

mitzi
madhur_ahuja, how did you eliminate C confidently? because of the place of of maximum winds? I am indecisive between a and c. Thank you for your help!
avixorld
Its C, as we are using compare to between two things that are not structurally equivalent say Zeena can be compared to a blazing sun whereas we use compared with for structurally similar thing; Hence D, E out. B --> s-v agreement btw A & C-- > located farther from the center of maximum winds reflects the correct meaning of the statement
mitzi
My pick is C. madhur_ahuja, I look forward seeing your alternative approach. Thank you.
abhishek_mumbai
I am not sure between A and C.. I do not understand what is 'center of maximum winds' in C and "broad zone of maximum winds" I think center of => should be with singular.. My pick is A.. madhur_ahuja
A: broad zone of maximum winds located farther from the center C: broad zone located farther from the center of maximum winds I eliminated C because phrase center of maximum winds looks wierd. Its not clear that the modifier of broad zone is located farther or located farther from the center
ps36363
I agree with madhur ahuja for eliminating C. C.with tropical cyclone systems, subtropical cyclone systems have a relatively broad zone(of what??) located farther from the center of maximum winds, and typically have IMO A
abhishek_mumbai
by the way, what is OA?
serGINho
the oa is A here is the explanation why C is wrong © The choice moves the phrase "located farther from the center" to a new position, which alters the meaning of the sentence. The original meaning states that the winds are located farther from the center of the storm. This sentence states that the zone is located farther from the winds, which is nonsensical.
