    1. Although it claims to delve into political issues, television can be superficial such as when each of the three major networks broadcast exactly the same statement from a political candidate.
    (A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks- otherwise a correct struture but since it is followed by broadcast therefore it has to be plural. note that each of the..... struture is always singular whereas ...each is plural.

    (B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks.-what i dont like about this one is that if sturuture is not correct. for one if....can structure is always wrong (here can clause preceeds if clause). for another i would think that if should be preferred only in cases when we need a hypothetical situtation.
    (C) superficial if the three major networks all-dont like the if clause
    (D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks- dont know any specific rule about whenever. would appreciate it if someone can shed some light on it. but i decided not to go with it because it just doesn't sound right.
    (E) superficial, as when the three major networks each - what i was looking for .....each broadcast sturcture.

    imo C:
    (A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks - broadcast (each singular, broadcast plural)
    (B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks

    (C) superficial if the three major networks all
    (D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks - same reason for which A was eliminated.
    (E) superficial, as when the three major networks each - same as A , eliminated

Though C does not sound right, it is the best choice available.
    OA pls ?

    (A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks (S -V agreement each of three major networks ....should have singular "broadcasts")
    (B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks (awkward, read Erin's post long time something about can/will and if usage)
    (C) superficial if the three major networks all (awkward)
    (D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks (S -V agreement each of three major networks ....should have singular "broadcasts")
    (E) superficial, as when the three major networks each
