Between is used only for 2 entities.. relation between X and Y.. relations among Xs and Ys (A) relations between nations that illustrates (B) relation of one nation with another that illustrates = Correct, Singular relation and singular verb illustrates © relations between nations that illustrate (D) relation of one nation with another and illustrate (should be singular) (E) relations of nations that illustrates (should be plural) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(btit) Even if we are talking of many nations, we are also talking about many relations and EACH RELATION BETWEEN 2 NATIONS.
