Nelz
Does anyone on this forum know whether economic consulting is a possible career after completing msc in economics for development at Oxford? Or does the development part mean that one can only take jobs pertaining to development? How would you compare this program to mphil economics cambridge for example? by consulting, i mean consulting that happens at different firms such as Oliver and Wilde, McKinsey, Deloitte and any firm that requires analysis of markets etc. They pay a lot, much more than academic research. However, I am not sure if I will get a job there and if I would be interested in such a job so I want to keep my options open. I am more interested in development agencies by the way but they would prefer phDs rather than masters. So I don't know.
