Low GRE scores for Econ PhD applications

    Sponsored Ad:
Is it wise to submit a low GRE score(310, 157Q) if the University made it optional? How does submitting it or not submitting it affect my application?
If I send it anyway, can my research experience(2 years) and Econometrics degree complement my low scores?

Re: Low GRE scores for Econ PhD applications

It depends on reputation of phd program. For US all econ phds I think 157Q is useless and adcom generally does not care about research experience
