    MIT chemistry decisions

    Hi there,

I'd just like to know if anyone has been admitted to the MIT PhD program in chemistry yet. The website states that "decisions are made on a rolling basis beginning in December" and "we hope to have all offers made by mid February" as well as "declines will be mailed by end of February"; so I'm getting more and more nervous...

    Looking forward to your opinion,

    hamilton1

I haven't heard anything yet, but MIT is a reach for me, so if I get a rejection I wouldn't expect it until late February or March.

If you look at last year's dates on thegradcafe.com Results page, I think that notifications should go out any day now.

An undergrad in my lab got acceptance from MIT chemistry. She got an email (if I remember correctly) from them in the beginning of this month (around the 4th or 5th).
