    X is synonym of Y, hence answer is A, but OA : D , I am wrong, please provide me the answer and bridge also....

    OA : E, my answer : D, please explain definition of inchoate is "just beginning to form and therefore not clear or developed " hence answer should be D, please explain if i am wrong

    SHUNT is used to DIVERT something, hence BRAKE is used to RETARD something.

    This was the explanation given above. But i could perceive that the explanation given applies to A and E too. Any pointers on how C has an uppper hand compared to A and E ? !
