The initial impression from the graph is that global use of water have increased during this period significantly.[/h]Looking more closely, it can be seen that the need for water in agricultural sector was the highest in 1900 with roughly 500 km3 and reached to a peak of about 2900 km3 in 2000.In industry and households water used almost in the same amount in 1900 with just 10 km3 till 1920.However, afterwards , water in industry have become more necessary and climbed to approximately 1000 km3 ,while only 300 km3 of water used in houses in 2000 According to the table Brazil use water to irrigate 26,500 km2 land, while this figure for D.R.C is 100 km2.
