VikSharma
Aarushi, is this just for US schools or Canadian schools as well?
VikSharma
My gf is looking to apply to 20-50 schools in the US, in your estimate what is a competitive LSAT score?
openeye
just look at the 80% / average scores published. There is no real score. and from what you say, 20-50 schools will vary a lot in their scores since if you go down the lost from 1 to 50, you will see not a small decline in the scores.. pammons
Each school does their own thing. But if you poke around their website they will let you know. The trend seems to be harder the school, the more likely they will look at the lower score. Since they dont know first hand why you got better... the admin officers I have talked to dont like retests... it makes you look like you went in cold turkey and are not taking this seriously. monibeam
Most schools want to see improvement of 7+ points to consider anything other than an average (at best).
