only just saw you message, sorry for the delay!
my profile is posted somewhere, but to summarize, I have a licentiate (=BA+MA) in economics and a BS in maths from the university of zurich, had letters from 3 economists, one of them was Ernst Fehr, and one letter of a mathematician who has been a researcher at a number of good US-universities. No publications, but a rather mathematical MA-thesis in econ. I lacked 2 points to a full TOEFL score, GRE800/560/4.5. No work experience, but have been TAing a lot, and also RAing some times.
before I got my results, I actually had no idea about which universities I would be admitted to, and I was very surprised with my results. I guess the letters helped lot.
...but you've got to make the best with what you have!
hoe that helps and good luck!
I noticed you were admitted to all the "big" schools and I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about your profile.
Any publications on arbitraged magazines?
Career ? masters degree ? GRE scores?Toefl ?? etc.
