Hi everybody,

I found some good links for studying MPJE WA.:)

Start here: Good advice on how to study for MPJE from WSU:

College of Pharmacy - State Law and Regulations Review

Followed by questions you can use to practice later on.

An Entire course is online! Includes past midterms, finals, assignments, and powerpoint slides for easy skimming.

Course Syllabus

There are some good links in this SDN thread:

Washington / WA MPJE Exam | Pharmacy Licensure and Exams | Student Doctor Network

Questions from UW:

http://sop.washington.edu/images/stories/pharmacy/public/Pharm_544/past_exams/11544_questions_2.pdf

Answers from UW:

Q&A from Previous Years - PHARM 544

The Pharmacist's Manual for the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Everyone says we should read it:

http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/pubs/manuals/pharm2/pharm_manual.pdf

More resources from UW:

Resources - PHARM 544

And something totally unrelated. Pharmacy calculations practice tests from UW:

Pharmacy Calculations, University of Washington

Good luck,

Hebes

Hi all,

I did my MPJE yesterday. I found it to be actually pretty straightforward and not difficult :). The questions were not confusing or weird. I was very surprised. I think the prempje.com tests that I purchased were very helpful. I also used the links I posted above from the university of Washington and WSU. The U of W had some good questions and answers that helped me understand state law. Please, KNOW the difference between record keeping requirements for the SLCP's and the C-V drugs. I got confused and I couldn't remember which one you had to send to BOP monthly. Also, there were a lot of question on legend drugs on my exam, more than narcotics. They asked me a lot of dispensing questions like how much can I dispense. They asked who exactly can prescribe, administer and dispense in the DATA program. Other questions were about basic stuff like who can write prescriptions for CS, if you can accept prescriptions out of state, how to transfer prescriptions....easy stuff. I did'nt know all the answers because I didn't have enough time to read and study all of the washington laws. I used Barry Reiss for the federal law and prempje.com. I think reading the laws off the DOH website is very boring and you can easily overlook what's important, so doing the question exercises from the universities is a good way of understanding the law.

I don't recall any questions asking me which drug belongs in which schedule. by far most of the questions were on legend drugs anyway.

I will post my score as soon as I find out.

Hello,

I am currently studying for the Washington MPJE and am looking for resources. The Q&A looks very helpful but has bee removed from the site. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest new resources or post up the old documents.

The WSU website is currently inactive: https://canvas.uw.edu/courses/949878/assignments/syllabus

These questions are useful, however there is no answer key: http://www.pharmacy.wsu.edu/currentstudents/pharmfiles/review_state-pharm-law-exams.pdf

I took the MPJE recently and used these links too. Since there are no answers, I had to read through WAC's and RCW's in detail to figure out the answers.

Best luck if you have not taken yet. I felt it was pretty straight forward if you read the questions well.
