brotherjorg
Thinking about applying to Haas next year and was wondering if anyone knows their stipend. I have heard pretty negative things about Berkeley's econ financial aid and was wondering if the business school was in the same situation. BCB
Thinking about applying to Haas next year and was wondering if anyone knows their stipend. I have heard pretty negative things about Berkeley's econ financial aid and was wondering if the business school was in the same situation. phdstipends.com lists a couple haas stipends. first year admit in 17-18 was offered 38K and second year student in 18-19 reported a stipend of 30K. also commented that incoming students received higher stipends. (assuming students starting in 2018?). ETA - take these numbers with a grain of salt. They are anonymous and self reported so there may be inconsistencies or they may be including fellowships/additional funding sources that not everyone is eligible for. StrategicMGMT
There are obviously high costs to places like the Bay Area / New York / Boston: but they are also places with incredible schools. If Berkeley was an option I can't imagine turning it down over stipend unless it was simply a situation where you wouldn't be able to afford necessities
Mandalorian
It's a state school, the information is public record.
steaman
This year admit here. 35k first two years, 38k afterwards. However, there is probably some variation across areas (Finance, BPP, etc.)
