It would be great if you could say what the consultant did for you - overall strategy, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendations, etc. Thank you ! But I noticed that typically they are much more used to MBA applications, not PhD. With advices that are valid for MBA, but not PhD applications. By far, the best information I got was from users here. The number of users here decreased since then, but you still should find a lot of useful stuff here if you dig and search.
