buno Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Hi guys, I just wanted to see if anyone is attending or has information regarding the University of New Mexico. I received an offer for their PhD program. However I wont be able to visit the school and information is limited online. I will contact the department, but I would like to see if anyone here has some information about the program. They are ranked high in agricultural and environmental economics which is pretty good. Perhaps it would be appropriate to email a grad student on the website whose posted areas of interest match yours to ask him/her about the program and try to arrange a phone conversation? buno Posted March 9, 2011 Author Share Posted March 9, 2011 @Akmandal, I retook the GRE, didnt do much better 730Q,490V, 4.5 AW. I will post my profile once i have a day to relax(Maybe this weekend). I didnt hear anything from clemson about funding. I emailed the department and they told me I will be accepted, so far I don't even have an official acceptance email. @econoecon, thanks for the suggestion. That would have been my second step.
