Concerns: not enough math classes, not strong enough LORs, no published papers, no strong grad level classes Applying to: what range should I apply for ? Other: what should I focus on most since I have one year left to apply? Any advice is appreciated! Edited November 7, 2014 by env557
Econhead
The general consensus on this forum is that if you are at someplace as good as a T10, we have little that we can offer that will be as helpful as talking with your advisor(s). To that end, I would meet with your advisor and ask two questions: 1) How do you compare to their past students. 2) Where do they think you should apply. With regard to #2 above, some combination of ranges from 1-20 based on preferences, LoR's connections, GRE scores, university past placements (and how you compare - see #1 above). Your advisor(s) will give the best advice - this is just some type of ballpark.
