jdl7851
I have heard that you need to fill out a FAFSA to be considered for departmental forms of financial aid such as an TA, RA, or fellowship. Is that true? Does applying for FAFSA as a fallback worsen your chances of getting a TA or RA?
startz
The answer to this question may be different at different institutions. I can tell you that in our program students are required to fill out the FAFSA...and that it plays no role whatsoever in our decisions on support of any kind.
