    Good phd programs

    Hi

I am a postgraduate student from the UK planning to apply to phd programs for 2021 entry. I am interested in time series, forecasting and empirical macroeconomics/macro-finance. Could you guys suggest which departments in US and EU top 50 (except the ones mentioned below) have good researchers in these fields?

I think the following are quite good (I have excluded Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, UPenn as they are beyond my league).

    Not ranked in any order:

    - Minnesota
    - Northwestern
    - LSE
    - Bocconi
    - UCL
    - UCSD
    - UPF

    Thank you
