Judging from the previous thread, it seems that a B for Real Analysis is quite critical, and it also happened to me... What makes problems worse is that it is not the only B. Could you guys give me some advice on what to do? Would taking grad math courses help? (yes, I am the one who recently posted a thread about taking grad math courses, but this time with a more critical issue...) Below is a detailed look on my math/stat courses taken: Calculus I,II (A,A), Linear Algebra I,II (A,A+), Analysis I,II (baby rudin; A,A), Intro to Probability (A), Mathematical Statistics (A), Differential Equations (B+), Numerical Analysis (B+), Stochastic Processes (A+), Applied Math (A+), Topology I (A), Real Analysis (Lebesgue measure; B+) That B+ for Real Analysis really breaks my heart... You have nothing the worry about as Lebesque Measure is a graduate Real Analysis course. Graduate Real Analysis is extremely tough and no adcom is going to judge you for that. In fact, I would argue that a B+ is quite good for grad RA. What matters is your Baby Rudin grades. Hope that helped! P.S. I wouldn't sweat for the grades in Diff EQ., Numerical Analysis either.
