my first admit :tup: :grad: i recieved an email from columbia stating that my admission letter is on the way and i would be required to pay 250$ for accepting admission. i applied for masters in chemical engg. wish to know more abt columbia.

hi congrats for your admit i am waiting to hear from rpi. i applied for ms in chem eng. how did they reply by email or by snail mail? how is the funding scenario?

i have used yahoo id for admission purposes and while i am waiting for results my account says:temporary problem accessing your mailbox.i couldnt login for past 2 days.when i contacted them by email the reply said "If the problem continues, please reply to this email. In order for us to proceed further, we will need to know the date and time of your last successful login before the error occurred. Approximate date and time are acceptable. This information will allow us to arrive at a timely resolution. If you cannot remember the date or time of your last successful login, we can reset your Yahoo! Mail account. This means that all information that was formerly stored in the account cannot be retrieved. " i hope this is only a "temporary" problem and i dont lose any correspondence info with universitites which was stored in my id and any new email regarding admits. my advice to all is to fwd all imp mails to different accounts. any suggestions are welcome. wish me luck

hi i have completed BE in chemical engg from mumbai university(average acad-61%,final year-72%). i am interested in the field of process control.my final year project involved multiariable control of nonlinear system.i wanted to know about the rankings/good univesities for process control.i also wish to know areas in which process control research is being done.
