  1. If you are willing to work your *** off, you could teach and earn some extra money there.
  2. What do you base this bizarre assertion on? When you apply for a visa, all you have to do is provide evidence that you have enough money for tuition and living expenses. The embassy officials could not care less who is paying your bills (e.g. are you funded by your school, by your parents, by savings, whatever)... At least that is my experience...
  3. It’s not very sporting when you prove my point so effortlessly! Despite all the proofs you have written in your career, you are still struggling with elementary logic. The dead person analogy is obviously irrelevant. (Sorry mon ami, I could not resist either. :)) Good luck to everyone.

  5. Yes, Levitt would get in. I know for a fact that there is a first year student at MIT now with no undergrad mathematics at all. These things happen. Dont believe all these bullies who claim you need advanced topology and twenty other math classes to get into and through grad school :).
