I really appreciate your responses. I am doing master in Occupational Therapy. Presently I am in non degree and in order to transfer in degree they want GRE score. My university hasn't mentioned the requirement score, they say it is the requirement that's it. Anyways I searched and asked my adviser, it is 450 in vocabulary and 400 in math. Should I go through A-Z vocabulary? What about mathematics? I am really not getting how to start and how much I should learn? Thanks,

I have a question that how much practice do you need to get 850 score in GRE. I need 850 I think it is not that hard to get it but the problem is I have very less time only 25 days. So do you think that practicing for 25 days I will hit 850?

Hey Sick and Tired of iBT, I am also there with you. I know this exam has sucked our emotions, self confidence feelings, and certainly our career. Those who are therapist, pharmacist and nurse, they cannot move ahead in their career without getting 26 in speaking. I think those who got 24 or 23 they can speak very well in English. Even I don't know what the pattern of scoring in speaking section is? For instance last to last time I got 23 in S i.e. fair, fair, and fair, in all three questions. This time I got 24 but look fair, fair, fair, in all three questions. The Change from fair to good in one question won't affect my score?????????? I really don't understand what to do and how to pass this exam? Sometimes I feel I will never even pass this exam. Anyways, we are there with you and let’s do something against ETS.

Congrat's Hey, first of all congrat's on your good score. It sounds that you really worked hard in IBT. In my case I am frustrated that I did even feel like to study for IBT. Why it is so tough to get 26 in speaking? I gave IBT multiple times but did not get 26. I really want to work hard like you. I want to pass it but question is how? Don't you guys frustrated by reading same iBT books again and again. Though I want to pass it at any cost now it like I have no motivation for iBT. Even I can't concentrate on other things. I am also doing master's in OT my semester has also started. I knew I was so excited when I got admission in Uni. but now becoz of ibT I am lost. I really need help. How can I keep myself in high spirit? I am so ashamed that I am not getting 26 in speaking. I did my schooling from convent school then also.

I am taking exam on 10th and 24th of feb. Anybody, who is also taking exam on the same dates.

Same Here, I also need 26 in speaking section. I have given iBT 4 times but of no use. Because of this iBT I cannot move ahead in my career. Is there anyway to get 26 in speaking section.

Same here, I also don't understand how do ETS calculate our speaking score. I got good,fair,fair=23, & good,fair,fair=24. Is there anything we can do about it? In my opinion, it doesn't matter whether you enter 1st or last in the test center. Basically there are two sets, A set will have long reading section and B set will have long listining section. Now it's you luck which one do u get. In my case Ist time I got set A with more reading pasages and less listining passages( around 5). In last two times I am getting set B. So It doesn't matter it's your luck. One thing more, they calculate the average score if you have two many listining passages. So try to do each and every question correct. Thanks

Hello everybody, Please clear my doubt. I send an email to NBCOT to Lilla gill about reactivation of my application. This is what she replied: Good Morning, you do not need to reactivate your Eligibility application. This applies to all candidates, if you have applied for NBCOT prescreening, you have until December 31, 2006 to complete and be approved by NBCOT. If you do not you will need to restart the prescreening process with a masters degree in OT. Please go to www.nbcot.org to read more about the Eligibility Criteria for Occupational Therapist effective December 31,2006. Thanks This mean we have to complete our prescreening application by Dec 31,2006. But as I read we have time till Dec,2007 to get certified by NBCOT. Thanks for your response. So you think it doesn't matter where you give exam raters will be American. This time I prepared from longman, Official guide and Princeton books.What other books I should refer now? Now I am having a feeling that will I ever pass this Ibt exam.
