Concur with all on A & D on Q1 and 2...
For Q3, i go for C...
I feel there is a small diff between C & D in Q3.
Over 75 percent of the energy produced in France derives from nuclear power, while in Germany it is just over 33 percent. whereas nuclear power accounts for just over 33 percent of the energy produced in Germany
whereas just over 33 percent of the energy comes from nuclear power in GermanyIf you read the first clause of the main sentence, it says that X% of energy in France comes from nuclear power. Here "its" is not mentioned before "nuclear power". So nuclear power can come from France or any other source...
I feel that if choice D would have been "whereas just over 33% of the energy in Germany comes from nuclear power" i would have chosen this.
But in Germany is not present with "energy" but with "nuclear power".
I hope i am clear... There's a very thin line bwtween C & D...
I then argued that even in C, "its" is not mentioned that "nuclear power in Germany" but thats not reqd as i had stated earlier that in the main clause nuclear power in France has not been mentioned!
If you guyz have some proper reason to go for D, do let us know...
Also, i might be totally wrong here... So if you feel that i am missing something.. do let me know...
