  1. I got a score of 50 in my first attemt. I studied only for 1-2 days and the score is perfect for me. I really don't know what is the criteria in evaluating the test takers by ETS raters. I didn't expected to get a 50 in my wildest dreams. but what I did on the test was to speak clearly and with an American accent. I advice everybody to watch CNN and try to speak as Americans. This may sound difficult but it really works. The second advice: follow this forum everday regularly. Read the messages posted and try to use them. I did and it worked. Thanks for everyone in this forum.
  2. are you kidding?you really force the limits of ETS. You can get admittance from whatever the school you want.
  3. Hi everybody, I will take the TSE test this saturday(may 13) and I require a score of 45. CAn anyone explain the difference between 45 and 50?

  5. Hi rpt2be, I hope the help of God accompanies with me. I got A TOEFL score of 280 and GRE verbal score of 600 and my English is good I think. But my mind is very confused after reading suggestions given in this forum. I didn't purchase any TSE book and I hope that I can be lucky enough to pass this test on my first try. I think there is no universal way to get prepared for this test. I will take and see what happens. It seems to be quite an easy test at first glance but many people say that they fail even if their English is very good. Many thanks for your encouragement Thanks God ETS has announced that there will be 3 more tests.(May 13 is not our last chance.)
  6. Vicki, what I understand from what you wrote is that: If you can tell what you think properly and fluently, what you say does not matter. The raters will not care about with your idea but only with you pronounciation. And one should not memorize anything and should not use any templates for his/her answer. Right?
