okay this is the biggest shock i can ever get.. but when i walked in for my interview this time... i see that the visa officer is talking to another person... " these people just reapply thinking that the decision will go in their favor" and that sums up what happens.. neither was i asked to show any docs or anything.. but just on a customary purpose i was asked hoew many family members do i have and then... like.... how can you parents put in all their savings for you? they must keep some.. i told that i am their only son so they are doing that.. but that was it.. when i told them i wanted to explain my case they were like.. i have givn you my decision.. this sucks.. i already told my college and though they have agredd to keep my place for a whole year ... but i am restless and sad that i wasnt even asked to speak... they gave the decison even before they heard me

tomorrow is finally the Dday i have and will do like you all suggested thanks for accepting me and helping me i will be waiting to put in my results... haha

i showed a total family income of $7000 , and bank records, post office savings, shares and fixed deposits of $30000, whilr i showed a total bank loan of around $20000

i had brough the follwoing with me for the interview.... 1> parents income, 2> bak statements and other depsits and sares 3> a sanction letter for and educational loan i had applied for 4>business turnover record of an uncle who is sponsoring me ( not much only around $2000 a year). i showed a total fund of $60000

well you see i did get a presidential scholarship and after that the rest of the payment for each year ( tuition + living) came to 13000 dollars...... the estimate was somethings like tuition $20000, living $8000 and others... (insurance, personal) $1500.. the I20 amount after scholarship deducted was $13000

well when i went for my interview they checked the photo specifications and then allowed me, in one case they asked him to re take a photo according to spec and then apply

you see Benadil, even i have a problem a little similar to you, an aunt of mine wants to sponsor me but the visa counselors here have adviced me to not tell them about any connections there so i am quiet about it

i applied to a a quite good and well reputed college in the OHIO ( muskingum college). My anticipated major was economics, I am 18 years old and i applied for undergrad. My highest level of education is High school. I have a 1300 on my SAT and all the schools that i applied to waived my TOEFL, The visa officer told me i was being denied due to lack of funds....

hullo i am from india, kolkata and recently my visa request for F! visa was rejected on grounds of insufficient funds, my total cosr per year excluding scholarships is $13000, and my family earning per year is $ 8000 and with my savings and bank loan total funds available for four years is $60000. i am going to reapply again in june.. please advice
