SNYP40A1 GRE is the least important credential. They just watch out whether the applicant has crossed certain threashold or not (some thing like 780 500). So is toefl. Whereas GPA , reseacrh experience , LOR s play the key role. People outside USA(e.g. in bangladesh) fall behind in LOR and research experience as no well renowned prof down here and ZERO opportunity to get some research experience. So only weapon is GPA. When someone ended up with a poor GPA in undergrad, he fall behind the race. Everynight I regret for first two year of my undergrad. I got doubt abt the persuation power of SOP. SOP really should be crap.

I think ur profile is decent. Purdue would be tough to get into so is georgia tech..I guess pretty hard 2. North Carolina State University........ok 4. University of South Carolina........ok 6. johns hopkins........................I think no application fee in cs 7. SUNY(sb & buffalo)........ok 8. iowa state univ........ok 9. U texas, dalla........ok I think u should be a little more ambitious. Try some mid rank school more and some top ranked also:D

I would say ..just give it a shot. And send score to universities after getting the score. Read as much as u can and solve questions. I havent started my preparation yet. Mine on November 04.
