  1. I had to finish the hours first to be eligible for the exams. I was and still work for walgreens. Also, I never contract or contracted with any one! You might contract for a sign on bonus if you want.
  2. GUYS ..... I passed the NAPLEX and the MPJE. I got my scores yesterday in the mail and now I'm licensed in MN..... That was long long long waay! Thank you every one for all you support and your help. really every posting helped a bit. I really appreciate you Docs. and wish you all success in your lives and your professional careers Thanks again dr_m_is_here, PharmD,RPh.
  3. It took me 4 months after meeting all the requirements. I was done by April and I got it by the end of August!!! Sad isn't it? Good Luck
  4. Sure you can. When you are filling the application for NAPLEX/MPJE exams they will ask you about you eligibility. You'll have to choose one of these options _ US accrideted college GRAD _ FPGEE /passed _ FPGEE/ FPGEC cerified _ OTher and I think you 'll choose number 2 good luck
  5. I had Strauss BOOK Looking at this book for the first time is soooo scary and it'll shut you OFF!!! It was a very helpful book. Start from the last chapters first. read about FDA , FD&C act, Controlled Sub. Act, orange book, Medical devices, Coloring agents. Skip all the details. Know the FDA , DEA, FTC, DEPT of AGRICULTURE and CPSP authorities. Read the State Statues well... The Exam is not from the books!!! the questions are in the form of situations . For exxample " you are the PharmD and some one presented you RX, blaaa blaa blaaa blaaa" what would you do?? !!! -Call MD -refuse to fill it _call the Board -etc.... some stuff like that know the Board authorities know the controlled subsctace really wellllllllll know the otc and rx drugs behind the pharmacy counter "like c-v have some OTC products and Insulins; some of them are OTC" know how and for how long and where to file your inventory and paperwork regarding the federal and local regulatons. know the child resistant and the tamper resistant packaging and which ACT it is requlated by know the adulteration and misbranding. know the proper labeling in "community pharmacy, nursing home or hospital. know the proper labeling when copying , transfering or partialling an RX or controlled sub. They won't ask you rough or dry questions, they will ask you professional and pharmaceutical ones. good luck ask me if you have any questions. yours >>

  8. NO Just know the important and familiar ones. Also, There are some differences between the federal and state classifications, you should be aware of that. For example , I practice in MN. The Robitussin AC is C-V federally but CIII in Minnesota. so.... Look for those differences.
  9. Hello, I agree with Nazia tooo, But I would like to add some thing. Stoklosa is good for "studying" and "understanding" the calculations which is important. On the other hand, Manan Sharoff is very important also to practice solving calculations problems. The questions in Manan are closer to the real test questions more than the ones in Stoklosa's book.... I recommend both of them together. Good Luck.

    vacation time

As an Intern, One week paid vacation after 6 month of employement. 2 weeks paid after one year. the they increase it after I don't know how many years... On the other hand, As an Intern I think you can get nonpaid vacation whenever your manager can approve it. week or two or three or whatever when you'r preparing for ur exams or if you have to go overseas or something... Walgreens is very flexible.
  11. combination of APHA and CPR and your own school notes good luck
  12. Come On Docs. What's happening here????! where are the " ethics ! " I Knew you guys are all stressed out at this period, but it will be just perfect soon... TK it E-Z
  13. it's very sufficient to give you an idea my friend. But if you have Manon sharoff , it will give you more examples and practice..... Basically it depends on you weather you can get it from reading only or reading and practicing together. TPN and calculations are generally simple in the NAPLEX. I know it's time consuming . Don't worry you'll have enough time. Take you time on calculations and don't panic and you'll do just perfect.
