please help me guys..... I have aplied to graduate program in pharmacology for fall 2007 semester......... mine GRE is low 1050 and toefl is 87................ acads are 70% with 1 papre publication and 3 papre send to publication........ universities to whom i have applied are nebraska medical center, Missouri kansas city, idaho state university, kent state university, university of louisiana,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, can anybody tell me what are chances of mine to get the admit..................

hi i am applyie for MS pharmacology .i gave gre and got very less 1050 i want to apply for fall 2007.acads count for 71%one paper presentation.guys please help me in selecting universities..........

great suggestion by igorus whatever he/she said is absolutely right cos i face the same prolem which are predicted by igorus. you need to concentrate more on basic things than its applications. you need to understand the word simply rather than mugging cos it is ephemeral and you need to nurture with daily work. i was preparing from last 5 months and i have gone through barrons completely. i can safely claim that i can recall them. but the problem occured in actual exam i know the words but can not able to create relationship betn them. the options are so close that you can not make a subtle difference betn them. mahi i dont know why you are stick to 1050-1100 you can grab all the opprtunities and can lift your score much more. go through systematic approach and with sincere efforts. do practice daily with RC, analogies and antonyms. cos practice can make you perfect to play a ball on wild bouncing wicket. all the best dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but is the key word in this SC so first check whether any antonyms are there in options. and also this is something "strongly" in the da second part of sentence. so both antonyms should be in direct contrast with each other. am i right anybody please xplain this.

awsome score !!!!!!!!!! well i need some help from me. m having gre on 11th of this month. now giving pracitce tests but not gettting good score. and more to it now quant is getting tough. can u tell me which problems are coming in quant?

martial:military Imo x is charactoristic of y cos, martial is diposition to warlike. military is meant for wars they are involved in wars.so warlike is charactoristic of military. they are deposited towards the war(martial). runic;mysterious can it be same like martial;war that is Y is charactoristic of X not sure about this.

PARADIGM IMO you should prepare for battle from nowonwards as gre is meant for measurement of skills. And as far change is concerned just check out gre.org for the changes which ets going to make from nov 07. but according to me these changes are in manifold difference from this pattern.so try to give gre before nov 07. but for instance you find yourself godd with new changes then dont go for this pattern just start preparing from now acoording to that. both the ways it your decision to do think for the apt condition for gre. all the best.

guys xtremely dejected got only 67 i have to rewrite it again can i apply on this score.

2-3 months is enough time to go through this lexicons. wel go though some flash cards. And after looking to your vocab flown,jargon I dont think you will take more time than 2 months for getting supposed mastery in words. Revise them as many times as you can. keep them to be connected with you and alway dwelling in that is a good thing to do although it is herculean task with a proper management of work can give you the feeling of triumph. all the best.

Most of people says BB is useful for verbal section and for quant it is not that much. i Am going through barrons only and colletcting well with esoteric gre lexicon. Also word power made it easy by norman lewis is also useful to vocab. for quant most of people say R.S agarwal is good. and yes it is good to salve the basics of Permutaion/probability. alll the best !!!!!!!:tup:

[clap] hey dont worry about score as ur profile is having strong weight of experience of about 3 yrs. IMO your experience will count you more over your score. If you are applying for PhD and also for MS. Dont worry. All the best for your application.

great score dude!!!!!!!!!! 5 is a good score in analytical . IMO this will not matter as much becoz of your gre score. all the best for your application procedure.

actualy GRE will change its format from next year perhaps in july 07 i am not sure about this. the changes will be of vocab and quant by means of little scope for retentive ability. there will be more RC passages in GRE and less anologys and antonyms. in quant there will be one more section of logical rasoning. dont be solicitous about that All the best :tup:
