my plan simply was to finish the hardest chapters and the most important ones first so, i can review them over and over like cvs,cns,asthma,diabetes,anti-infectives ,hiv,cancer. don't stress through the exam if you find q you can't answer it just try to scientificly guess and don't think about it once the screen is turned in my evaluation to my exam (i had my 40 calculation)in my pocket and there were lke 30 qs really really easy you can't miss one so i guess you just nedd 20-30 qs mmore to pass i guess.hope it helps

I haven't used the Appleton and Lange review. I only used the 1500 q&a. It has a yellow cover. I'm sorry I gave my books to a friend but you will easily identifies it on amazon. Good luck. -

If you preparing for naplex you don't need CPR my friend. I guess American Association complete pharmacy review is enough. Mannan calculation book would be great cause calculation is too many in PALEX. Just study theraputic agents really well with exact mechanism of action, brands and generics don't go deep with pathology. I practiced questions from appleton and longue 1500 Q&A. It is a nice book but real naplex questions are easier. Good luck.

Hi mona, 1-my self I read chapters 2-7 not study. They are about 8-10 questions at the most in my exam but, I don't know if this is a rule cause for example I didn't have any q about cancer or HIV not one question. 2-don't go deep in pathology but know basic like if you don't know that sodium and water retention cause edema which worsen CHF you will not know why diuretics and ACEI help. 3-I didn't have any material other than APHA, Appleton and Lange1500 and Manan calculation. For trade names 200 top are not enough and for me I really didn't spent effort in that as you said my internship give me that benefit.

I had only 2 on meq , no normality, compounding and infusion rate they love to play with ml/hour or ml/min focus on all conversions they play a lot with that, statistics was 3 easy ones(basic). Thank you mona and asma2 , I'm sure you will do it soon.my advice is if math is not your strength area go ahead and work on that really hard my exam was weird. I had like 35-40 calculation and, every time the next one is more challenging 1 thing. I'm sure of is that I didn't miss one cause I did Manan 250 calculation book really well beside appleton and longe 1500 q&a. Don't go deep in interactions, know the exact mechanism of action like for example, in glucoma know which decrease formation and which increase flow rate. Again you will be fine guys just relax and sleep well night before. Again never forget you lord, prayers can do miracles.

Thanks to my meciful lord finally I got my license. Guys, all of you will do it soon and guys it feels great. My naplex I can't say was easy but hey for all the foreign pharmacist out there it nothing comparing to our equivalency exam. My law was dumb it is just unrelated to what you study but,the questions for federal part is good. Anyone has any concerns I will try to answer you all. one last question please ,what about pharmaceutical compounding?? and drug dosage forms??how deep is the questions ?should i go through the 200 q in a&L about compounding????i didnot study compounding chapter from apha or sterility and feel like my brain is not taking in any more info what do you think ?thank you so much for responding.all the best
