  1. I am a First year student at the Cox School of Business and would be willing to share any information that you might be seeking. While i love this forum, yet I am not very active on this anymore. So you can get in touch with me at animesh202@yahoo.com
  2. Here it is the Number 700
  3. Get it right where it was earlier. The good ol' top right of the page.
  4. I think anyone who has had 700 posts on this forum should qualify for a free TM T-shirt. Who all disagree? I would have asked for a vote on this post and defeated Erin (who must be shaking his head in disagreement) hands down.
  5. Erin it is so damn easy. If you want then I can provide you with the piece of code you are looking for. It amazes how no one has ever compared of this absence of search functionality to date.
  6. Erin I wonder if you plan to implement the Good ol' Google search engine in the new 'Success' style. What is the use of having to switch to the old styled one if this cannot be made as effecient?
  7. I know it is not often that i login to testmagic. I am a little too occupied with the Visa formalities. Got admission to the school I was aiming for with a decent scholarship. Watch this space for more information that will come up your way. I wonder where have all my testmagic mates have disappeared. Know the whereabouts of the gang???? Right at this moment I can divulge the information that i applied to a few b-schools in the Southern region of US. Let me know if you have any further queries regarding the entire application process. I will be happy to help you with the same. In any case, don't miss out on the 'Admission Consultants' thread in this forum. They seem to be doing a helluva of a good job. Have a happy time practising your magic here.
  8. Never. The schools always act in a responsible and in any case they don't have any control over SEVIS. It is an automous authority. Apply to a million colleges if you can and don't go to one of them if you can. Be assured that they can't take your life.
  9. Why can't I see the google search any more? Its still there in the ol' skin but the new one has this missing.
  10. In India it is still easy. But the interest rates are a deterrent. You must go to SBI and find it yourself. Talk to the manager....he/she would be kind.
  11. David You have been doing a wonderful job on this thread. But by any means do you advice people who are looking for financial aid as well. What is the correct place to look for it. I am an international applicant from India and got admission to Cox School of Business. I will be hearing from the school about the scholarship they might award me. But over and above the grants, funding the remaining amount would still be a burden for me and my family. I don't know of anyone who can cosign a loan for me in US. What are the avenues so that I can make this dream a reality?
  12. I guess all my anger comes from what they did to the person who was caught unaware reading out something between the test.
  13. I'd take ETS to court for first providing low grade service for the tests they conduct. A truck can move right over your head honking as it please. They should be sued for harassment.
  14. I would have neve gotten myself in this mess. One has to say It wasn't me. That should settle everything straight. I can always come up with the username Erin and then who gets screwed. C'mon guys..... We have seen enough of these on the WWW
  15. Just to complete the information.... I am an international applicant from India. Guys, do share any information you might have. I have scanned through all the posts in this thread with no relevant information.
  16. Hi Guys I got acceptance from one of the universities in US. Can you tell me if one can take loan from US without a co-signer? Share any information or links you might have. This is driving me nuts.
  17. Anyone wants to post the current ratings???
  18. Hi people I am back at TM after a long time. I thought its time to give back to this lovely forum which I owe so much. Before i forget.... Got my TOEFL-ibt score and I guess i didn't actually ace it. I screwed up the speaking section but still managed to get 107. So that should be fine unless schools are looking at a minimum score at each section. New season is about to begin and there are people who are going to gear up for the next season. Let me know if you have any such queries regarding where to begin and how to handle the specific secrtions. My application process is still on and it would be good if all goes well. Else, I plan to take the test again coz i expect an upside from here.

    New look!

I will tell you something. I like the 'Good ol TestMagic'. This makes me go to sleep.
  20. Guys even if you don't answer the AWA section in ur mock tests, do make it a practice of taking down the topics and constructing the structure at a time when its convenient. Don't leave this section for the last moment. NEVER. Take my word for it. AWA is a good way to relax before one faces the sections that follow.
  21. Hasnathullah Post me a message with your mail id. I will send the software requested by you. Regards Animesh
  22. Sure Rohini. How is a drive to 'Sher-e-punjab' and then have a huge dinner there. Thats one place you will jump for any day ;) Jokes apart. There seems to be a lot of queries regarding JJs. My experience with them hasn't been great. It takes a lot of effort to decipher those questions, the way they are written. I had some JJs but practiced none. So, if there is anyone for whom it paid off well might be able to share his/her thoughts here.
  23. JustMe123 and Shweta... I am glad that someone told me to try a shot at the Tier I schools. Having done that I want you guys to help me do some research on them. You get a wink from me JustMe123. I wonder how true the theory goes but even I've heard of people uninstalling the software and then re-installing it to take the tests again. Which would you believe it, I DID. I earn my living working in a Software firm and it will take some convincing to make me believe that it does happen that way. Now that GMAT is off my back, I'll try to take the tests again without reinstalling the software. Watch this space for my comments. Yes Power Prep is recommended but an ideal approach would be to take them before taking the tests from GMAT Prep.
  24. And hey thats an awesome score in AWA. I will be happy if i am somewhere close.
