Hey guys, I didn´t find any place to ask about the SAT II's ... In any case, I just wanted to ask about the book I should buy. I have about 4 weeks (for DEc 1) and I want to take the Math II. What book should I get? The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1 & 2 Study Guide Cracking the SAT MAth I and II ( Princeton Review) How to prepare for the SAT II Math Leve IC ( Barrons) Any help, any suggestion would be highly appreciated thank you very much in advance

NO, unfortunatelly, i wouldn't guess which section was the experimental one...it may have been the first one...or the second one... it doesn't neccesarily need to be the last one.. hope it helps, take it easy, you surely did well!

Yes call the universities... I did the same by certifying them on a public notary. THE TOP universities might disagree with that...still check that out with the universities you want to get in!

I think a good tip would be ( if you didn't notice it) to read just the questions before you even get to the answer choices. Read the question, understand what they're asking..and go to to the passage to look for what they're asking you, then, once you find out, you go to the choices and pick the one it seems more reasonable at a first glance. I had the problem of getting confused, since I realized this way of doing it... Hope it helps! Carpe Diem

Hi to everybody, I got my toefl scores some minutes ago too...And Moon don't be mad at yourself, it's not worthy. Im sure you can retake it again. I got 92 and it really sucks they way that speaking and writing is evaluated.. You cant have 24 in writing...Either 22 or 25, and the difference between both is so slight regarding the tasks themselves...Anyways: Speaking same evaluation and I got 19 , So guys practice speaking as much as you can because it really needs preparation and to be comfortable and self confident. The latter one is what I had... About reading was my surprise:24 I thought passages were much harder to get these scores..At least Listening was like walk around the park.. However only 27. I really should be proud of myself,since 6 months ago I didn't have any clue about English. I could not afford my dreams (100) but I did reach my expectations (+ 90). I put a lot of time into it, I think Im being rewarded with this score despite I might not seem very content. Winds blow in favor for them who know where to go. Carpe Diem You guys can really improve in english and toefl by diligence, nothing but hope and diligence and working hard.

Well, I was kind of confused when I first realized that last year the Sat changed adding to it a writing section, if Im not wrong... So I was researching to purchase preparation books and didn't know which would you guys recommend, since the new SAT has been ever tried. I was looking for lots of practice because I have around 3 months to prepare it at a full time. Therefore, I ruled out "The official guide for the new SAt" since it doesn't give you any explanations... I am very needed of your suggestions because I do not know which book might give me the best source of knowledge for the new SAT. There are many books for the "old " SAT , but I don't know if I should buy those... I think that what I would need are: -many practice tests>>+explanations - vocabulary>> understanding(((think english parts might be hard since Im a foreigner)))>>>consider it as an important factor - scores/samples / ways to learn for the essays of the SAT According to this, please also tell me a good combination of some preparation books in order to improve what I BELIEVE/ guess is important. BTW, I do not know anything about SAT ,never taken the PSat or other things, which can determine some startups...So please I need your help to prepare for the SAT in a focused way. Is it worthy these CD's that prepare you in a computer?? Please HElp that's all I need! Guide me in the way you want, I will appreciate it a lot! THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE

No well...I mean the independent tasks of the speaking and writing is very possible to remember. In fact, people post them after they're done with the test..I know that reading and listening is impossible...of course ..

because you can know the answers forehand..

The big question if is the questions are the same throughout the world in the same test day. If anyone knows for sure would be GREAT to know THANKS IN ADVANCE
