  1. For 1 Answers should be C and for 2. it should be B For 1. we have to measure success in marriage by the degree to which matched development occurs, it becomes possible to make a strong and ominous prediction about the future. and then prediction has been done "prediction is one of progressively shorter time spans for marriages" . All the factors that contribute or strengthen based on less matched logic should be eliminated. a) An extremely fast moving society. ( leads to shorter span of marriage -- strengthen) b) Life expectancy has gone up. ( neutral at best -- I think) c) People are being less and less career minded. ( to strengthen People are being more and more career minded then we can predict or say shorter marriage) -- weaken d) Men and women are becoming more and more competitive. ( strengthen the shorter marriage logic) e) (b) and © For 2. I think B is the answer :- logic as The U.S. adult population's average age will increase between 1995 and 2005 so will be the incidence of diseases as mentioned. Thus average age of population with disease will move to aging side.
  2. I am with D. As this states the fact irrespective and this is a netural statement. For me A is an assertion that it shows weakness "high quality of hospital has no bearing on public vulnerability" I think A weakens officail claims.
  3. I have one question if A is the answer then infact we have doubted the evidence "When researchers have been able to stimulate VNO cells in humans, the subjects have reported experiencing subtle smell sensations" Hence A challenged the evidence and then conclusion was weakened ... May be not a good source of CR question
  4. I think D if A careful count by the copy editor is likely to be less accurate than the computer's count Then conclusion is destroyed.
  5. My Answer is B Evidence I "Shy adolescents often devote themselves totally to a hobby to help distract " Evidence II "their loneliness may be exacerbated" conclusion is "So developing an all-consuming hobby is not a successful strategy for overcoming adolescent loneliness. Ony B supports the conclusion by re-stating unstated premise
  6. I do not under stand how B can be correct . It states that "The literature department’s courses give students the critical skills to analyze and understand texts. Therefore, it is the literature department’s responsibility to include the study of advertisements in its undergraduate courses." and only C states that those needed to analyze and understand texts are not available in other literature department courses. If those are not available in other courses then the conclusion holds " it is the literature department’s responsibility to include the study of advertisements in its undergraduate courses". Really surprised with Answer B
