  1. Yes, Actually DIPLOMACY is the most reliable way of communication around the world. In fact, this forum is like many societies and countries around the world has a king and ordinary people. King acts generally base on the rules and regulation but sometimes with discretion. It can't be denied. Khadija should not be offended and attacked. She must be sympathized. She is oppressed by some discreet rules when she asked some questions. However, finally, she should practice diplomacy and find a better time to release her anguish. I speculate all readers here can feel what she cries for and can empathy by their silence…
  2. Soliciting!!! Nobody forget the $10 soliciting for …, while I was inviting people to “Discuss & Comment”. I keep my right to answer this post in a better time. Regarding NABP, Optimistically, the ACE recommended to NABP to adopt a new English Language Examination as long as they continue TOEFL iBT since many FPGEE takers have done their TOEFL or will continue to take it in the future. The task-force hasn’t performed, yet. So, being pessimistic in this regard is unacceptable. Phaemcist26, They are right because ETS recommended them “Speaking 27 and Writing 25”. Surprisingly, It is required in Canada since 2006. ShikoNesta, Thanks for your censored empathy. It was entirely received by everyone via emails.
  3. Pharma12, God Bless You, You did an excellent job! The Following text is the last part of NABP newsletter (Sep 08) ** NABP Revisits TOEFL iBT Standards for FPGEC Certification, Convenes Task Force to Assess Findings In addition to the mean score comparison conducted earlier this year, and at the request of the NABP Advisory Committee on Examinations (ACE), NABP investigated alternative vehicles for evaluating English language proficiency. In deciphering the feasibility of switching the English proficiency test, NABP staff considered three key points: 1. Uniformity of the requirements for the FPGEC Certificate. In order to ensure that all applicants meet the same criteria, it is imperative that only one proficiency Examination is endorsed for the FPGEC Certificate. 2. Accessibility of the proficiency evaluation. The evaluation must be accessible to the greatest number of applicants. 3. The impact of switching the required evaluation. Nearly half of the member boards of pharmacy specify in their requirements that foreign graduates complete the TOEFL, TSE, or the TOEFL iBT in addition to maintaining the FPGEC Certificate. Two examinations were found to be possible alternatives to the TOEFL iBT: the University of Michigan’s Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). In taking a closer look, however, it was found that the MELAB is offered a limited number of times per year and is available in just two countries. The IELTS, though offering the test 30 to 40 times a year, is limited to 120 countries, whereas the TOEFL iBT is also offered 30 to 40 times a year but is available to 178 countries. After careful consideration of the other English language proficiency examinations available, ACE recommended to the NABP Executive Committee that the FPGEC forego the adoption of a new examination and continue to require the TOEFL iBT since the examination reaches the greatest number of FPGEC applicants and provides continuity and uniformity in testing from location to location. In response to the recommendation, the NABP Executive Committee recently commissioned a task force to meet October 28-29, 2008. The task force will reassess and discuss the TOEFL iBT standards originally set in May 2005 as well as reevaluate the practicability of switching the required English language proficiency test. Additional information regarding the task force findings and recommendations will be available in a later issue of the NABP Newsletter. ** Ref.: http://www.nabp.net/ftpfiles/newsletters/NABP/nabp092008.pdf P.S. for Knok, I didn't see any notice and any reason when you removed my last thread. I speculate this isn't a proper way to silent somebody or eliminate a comment. You had better answer to the group of people who announced their inclination of support IPHARM-US and their representative; The one who is the founder of IPHARM-US and accepted to be their representative voluntarily. This is one of the irrespective actions I have ever seen in this forum to the members, so far!
  4. Dear knok, Once again, thanks for your effort. You have done so many excellent jobs, so far. I see that you have gathered several articles in support of "Pharmacist Shortages", out-lined numerous reasons in prove of ETS unpractical method of testing, had a decent session with NABP for iBT (albeit, uncovered in details), and advocate right of international pharmacist in this forum as much as you can, now; what is the strategy and policy of IPHARM-US for the up-coming event? Do IPHARM-US have a representative in this session to deliver the words and documents which are gathered, so far? Is there any inquiry from IPHARM-US to NABP regarding of its delegates presentation in "Task Force for iBT Requirement Session"? There is less than a month left, we cannot do anything after the session, when they made a decision without us. What should we do?
  5. Dear Lika, You are losing more than US$ 5000 each month as long as you have not got your FPGEC. So, don't get upset for a couple of books which cost you less than US$ 1000 in total. Be concern if NABP wouldn't fulfill your willing! To all "Internatinal Pharmacist" who hasn't achieve FPGEC; Discuss & Comment of what we can do in case of the up-coming event in NABP for iBP requirement. Should we sit and wait for them to decide? Should we set up a campaign in front of NABP headquarter? Should we have a representative in the "task force session" to deliver our words and documents? ... Again, discuss and comment in this matter because there is less than a month left to change our destiny, if we could. We can't say anything later when the decision is made! Consider that any decision which will have been being made by NABP cannot be change easily in the future, at least for a couple of years! What can we do?!
  6. ** **Discuss & Comment for Making Campaign in:** Task Force to Review TOEFL iBT Score Requirements (October 28-29, 2008) NABP Headquarters Mount Prospect, IL PS. Or, dispatching delegates of IPHARM-US to NABP headquarter to present the words and the documents.
  7. Thanks for your follow up. I confused a little. Do they need FPGEC or not? If yes, What does this mean "Except FPGEC Examination" ? Maybe they need only Primary Registeration for FPGEC! Anyway, you clarified & verified what you were looking for by yourself. Take Care,
  8. . The following article was posted in other forum by Steven Curtis. Who Got H-1B Visas Petitions Approved Last Year? 9. Perfect. So, go ahead and give us a brief later about the whole process. Thanks,
  10. I can't acknowledge your claim since I didn't find anything in their website about any Canadian School of Pharmacy as an accredited School. Again, as far as I heard in this matter, Canadian pharmacists also must go through the whole process like other foreign pharmacists. ECE, FPGEE, FPGEC, Internship, NAPLEX, Juriseprudence and finally Pharmacist Licensing. Check with board, yourself. And then let us know, kindly. Thanks,
  11. Before any transaction, contact the MA board and ask them your questions directly. As far as I know, Canadian Pharmacists must go through FPGEE & FPGEC process like other foreign pharmacists.

  13. Well, I am impressed by your persistency. Carry on! We will all support you. Undoubtedly, you will be granted the excellencies, the best results you are deserving. We all appreciate your efforts. Babak, P.S. The all above correspondences are somehow out of regular posts. If you would like you can delet them.
  14. I do believe to MIRACLE. But, It is out of our hand and we cannot wait for that. Real life is base on some principles. Physics, Dynamic, Chemistry,... If you want solve a problem, you have no way except following rules. I don't deny the power of faith & believes. I say everything has a solution and we have to consider all possibilites and discuss about them. In case of TOEFL iBt, we can't do anything as long as we don't have power. It is a simple dynamic question. [i admire your day & night efforts] but, I am looking for an alternatives. I said "swim in river's direction", because it is another way that can provide us the results. You have raised a good point "Pharmacist Shortages". And I believe this is an excellent alternative which can be followed in parallel with other movements. But again, we cannot do any action as long as simply distributing these kind of articles around. The one who has power can do a change. This is the rule. Power can come by, Money, Parties, Politicians, and Trustees like chain pharmacies and Pharmaceutical companies. ...Stay Tune,
